Frequently Asked
Questions
Find answers to common questions about EV charging safety, charging times, battery storage durability, and solar energy.
Charging Station Safety
Yes. All our charging stations are certified to IP54 or higher waterproof standards, meaning they are fully rated for outdoor use in all weather conditions including heavy rain. The connectors feature automatic safety shutoffs that prevent current flow until a secure connection is established.
Our stations comply with IEC 61851 (EV charging safety), IEC 62196 (plug standards), and meet CE marking requirements. Each unit includes overcurrent protection, ground fault detection, temperature monitoring, and emergency stop functionality.
No. Modern EV charging equipment uses a communication protocol between the vehicle and the charger. Power only flows after the connection is confirmed secure and the vehicle authorizes charging. When you unplug, the circuit is de-energized first. Multiple layers of insulation and ground fault protection ensure complete safety.
Charging Time
Charging time depends on the charger type and vehicle battery capacity:
Level 2 AC (7-22 kW): 4-8 hours for a full charge — ideal for overnight or workplace charging.
DC Fast Charging (50-150 kW): 30-60 minutes to reach 80% — designed for on-the-go charging stops.
Ultra-Fast DC (150+ kW): 15-30 minutes to 80% — available at our premium highway stations.
This is a built-in battery protection feature. After reaching approximately 80% charge, the Battery Management System (BMS) reduces charging speed to prevent overheating and extend battery life. This is similar to how your phone charges quickly to 80% then slows down — it's designed to maximize long-term battery health.
Battery Storage Durability
Modern lithium-ion battery storage systems (BESS) are designed for 15-20 years of operational life with proper maintenance. They typically retain 80% of their original capacity after 10 years of daily cycling. Our second-life BESS units add an additional 8-10 years of useful life from repurposed EV batteries.
Our BESS installations come with a 10-year performance warranty guaranteeing at least 80% capacity retention. This includes 24/7 remote monitoring, annual on-site inspections, and a dedicated technical support team. Extended warranty options are available upon request.
Safety is our top priority. Each BESS unit includes:
• Advanced BMS — cell-level monitoring of voltage, temperature, and current
• Thermal management — liquid cooling systems to maintain optimal temperature
• Fire suppression — integrated fire detection and automated suppression systems
• Redundant safety layers — multiple independent safety shutoffs
Solar Energy
For industrial rooftop solar systems in Vietnam, the typical payback period is 4-6 years under the EPC model, with a system lifespan of 25+ years. Under the PPA model, clients enjoy immediate savings of 10-20% on electricity costs with zero upfront investment. ROI varies based on location, energy consumption patterns, and system size.
Solar panels require minimal maintenance — typically periodic cleaning (2-4 times per year) and annual electrical inspections. With no moving parts, modern panels have extremely low failure rates. Our O&M packages include remote monitoring, scheduled cleaning, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance throughout the system's lifetime.
